HP Victus Special Edition Design 

Talking about the design, you get to see a very premium design in this laptop, it is a very unique design. You can see the Victus logo made on the back of the laptop. It feels quite interesting from the back also, you get to see a very big air grill because there are 2 fans in this, that is why you get to see a big air grill as well. 

There is also rubber grip attached on the bottom 4 corners, with the help of which the laptop remains slightly elevated, due to which the thermals also work quite well because the airflow remains good. The laptop is quite easy to hold. You can even open this laptop with a single finger. We get to see slight flex in the screen. There is very less flex in the keyboard as well. 

Build-Quality 

HP has improved the build quality of this laptop a lot as compared to other laptops. You get to see 2 speakers on the bottom side. Air vents are given a little forward along with the keyboard, you get to see 4 ports on the right side and on the left side you get to see 1 charging pot, USB port and a headphone port. Overall, we get to see a very good design in terms of design. 

Keyboard 

Talking about the keyboard, its font looks quite unique, I have not seen such a font in any laptop till now. Even on pressing the keys, you get a very loud sound which makes you feel quite good while typing. You also get to see a blue backlight in this due to which you do not face any problem even in the dark. In the backlight, you do not get any extra mode or option to customize the light. 

Trackpad 

Talking about the trackpad, its color looks a bit different, you get to see the cardboard-like texture of the trackpad. The trackpad is made of plastic and is a fully clickable trackpad.

Talking about the display, in this laptop we get to see a 15.6-inch IPS FHD display which comes with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It has 45% NTSC panel. While watching 4K video on this, we were getting quite good colours and smooth experience. There is also anti-glare coating on this display due to which there is not much reflection. 

In this you get to see peak brightness of 250 Nits, according to me if it was a little more it would have been better. Let me tell you one more thing that its display is directly run by the Intel processor. You get to see very light bezels. Overall this laptop gives us a very good experience in terms of display.

Talking about RAM, in this laptop you get 8GB+8GB DDR4 RAM in Dual channel. Now some people will think that we are giving only one RAM, if it is only 16GB then no brother, Dual RAM performs better in gaming laptops, that is why you get to see RAM in Dual Channel. 

In this you get 512GB PCle Gen 4 NVMe M.2 SSD. You get very fast SSD in this laptop.

In this laptop you get to see 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12650H processor. We cannot call this processor the latest yet because 14Gen has already arrived, but in terms of performance this processor provides us a very good experience. In this laptop we get 10 Cores (6 Performance Cores + 4 Efficiency Cores) / 16 Threads. In this you get to see a base clock speed of 2.3 Ghz and Max turbo speed of 4.7 Ghz.

In this laptop, we get to see NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050A 4GB GPU. First of all, let me tell you that this is not the old 3050, a lot of changes have been done in it due to which it is a little more power efficient and provides us better performance. HP Victus Special Edition Performance 

First of all we did the multitaking test in this, in which we opened many tabs, played music on Youtube in the background and kept running and switching many tabs continuously and we did not see any problem in multitasking. In this we also tried editing a 50 minutes video with many overlaps, we tried doing it in Rander etc. and we did not see any problem in this and could feel the clicks quite quickly. After this we opened Blender, we have a model of a tractor in it, we tried editing it etc. in this also we was getting quite smooth experience. 

HP Victus Special Edition Gaming Performance 

Talking about gaming, this is our favorite topic, we test all the devices whether it is gaming or not. 

• First of all we tested CS 2 in very high graphic settings, in this we were seeing around 100 fps, sometimes we were seeing upto 125 fps also. 

• After this we played GTA 5 in very high graphic settings, in that also we were seeing around 105 fps. 

• After this we tested Valorant, we played it also in very high graphic settings, in this we were seeing around 225 fps. 

• After this we tested God of war on ultra graphics and in this our DLSS was on so we were getting around 45 fps. 

• After this we tested Call of Duty Warfare and this too we played on Ultra graphic settings and in this with DLSS we were getting 68 fps and on turning off DLSS we were getting 57 fps. 

Overall I cannot call the performance we are getting with 4GB GPU much better than this. In some other games it was giving much better performance. Overall it gives us pretty good performance in this price range.

Talking about the price, we were getting this laptop for around ₹ 78,500 on Amazon but you can also check with other stores where you get a better offer and trusted seller, you can purchase it from there only.

Overall, let’s talk about this laptop; we get to see quite good gaming performance in this laptop as per the price. It has a new 3050 GPU; you should not get confused as we were getting a 3050 laptop even under 60,000.
